On vacation

I am in the final week of my 30 days vacation in Malaysia now. Perhaps it is the busiest days for me in my home country — everyday,  every minutes  (I am exaggerating here!) was carefully spent — I was in Melaka ->Batu Pahat ->Gunung Ledang->KL->Muar->Bukit Merah->Taiping->KL->BP and back here in KL now to do my packing. Due to budget constraint (we went back to Malaysia twice this year + abah just have to buy more routers to pursue his CCIE dreams) we have to limit our visits around Malaysia. But, you know being in Malaysia — I just realized how beautiful Malaysia is and everything is fun compared to the  hot 50 degree Celcius, sandy and dry  Riyadh .
Imagine  30 days of waking up late, spent quality time with your family and eating out everyday ! You can read about the adventure at my wife’s blog as I am too busy to write! Photos here

The Malaysia holidays..

To friends and relatives I didn’t get the chance to meet/call when I was in a 7 days’ holidays Malaysia — I am deeply sorry. I spent 4 days in my hometown Batu Pahat so that I could share my time with my father who got a stroke 3 weeks ago. Alhamdulillah , Praise to Allah All Mighty his condition is better now, I am happy to have the chance chatting and laughing with him while I shaved his beard on my last day in BP, also to see my mom started smiling again perhaps happy to see her son and the family again since last 2007 summer

Does it really matter?

Just read comments from brother Zahid regarding the “suprising” results of the recent PRU12 –site might be down again! Being a big fan of his writings (at our mailing list) and living in Saudi for a year I just can’t help myself to agree with his email — my favourite line is :-

. It does not matter to me if we get zero economic growth if Pas ruled Malaysia. Allah holds the key to all rezeki, He gives to whomever He pleases and He denies whomever He pleases. The richest country in this world is not one governed by the most worldly capable group of humans. The richest country in this world is one who obediently implements the law and the life as commanded by Allah

We just need to have some faith!
